Usage

In the select, use the Xpath expression to get the value of xml.

XPath is a language for finding element in xml.

This is a xml file

We transform it to model

In the template, we select this model to find the xml model

If the model group is selected, the xml tag need to specify relation

If the model is selected, the xml tag does not need to specify relation

We use select to output some elements, the format must begin with $.

• xml/bookstore/book[1]/title: title node value of the first book node
• xml/bookstore/book/title[@lang='eng']: the value of the title node, which property lang equal to eng
• xml/bookstore/book[price>35.00]/price: the value of the price node which price>35.00

case and trim usage

• case: through case, you can get the upper/lower or single/plural case.
• trim: trim is to judge whether to retain the output value of the front and back blank characters, the default false, that is to say, output all characters.

Example: we get the value of title " Learning XML ", with spaces before and after. We do the following:

• output
• lower case output
• remove the front and back blanks

Result
